I wanted to start off with that quote because business owners feel the pressure. The pressure to do something great ALL THE TIME. Whether it’s being an example for your kids, being the change you wish to see, or even doing more and better.
I recently did an interview (you can check it out here) and through the course of the interview I realized something.
People are always looking for the best ways to build their business and often never consider how those ways will impact their life. Let me dive a little further into this.
If you are going to use an inverted triangle funnel to grow your business that means you need to have a lot of leads. That can created from lots of networking to FB ads however, do those tactics fits with the life that you are creating? Do you want to do 2 networking events every night? Do you want to be really techie and build landing pages and learn FB ads? How are you dividing your time and what are you devoting it to?
Remember, you’re not shutting off the lights at the office and then going home. As an entrepreneur there is always bleed. So, make sure that bleed adds to, not takes away from your life.
