So you’ve probably have heard the buzz around quizzes. In fact, you’ve probably taken one or two or a couple (What character from Harry Potter are you?) The great thing is that you can use quizzes to grow your list and qualify clients that come from the wild wild west of social media. I was given the opportunity to review this quiz platform called Interact. Here are my thoughts about the platform itself and how I can see it being used in social media.
SETUP
When you first create your quiz the most important thing you want to map out what are the goals of this quiz and what are the questions and answers. By knowing these two objectives you will be able to ensure your quiz is one step closer to effective.
After you create your questions and answers you’ll want to brand it! When people share this online this might be the first introduction to your brand. Make sure it represents you well.
Finally, have your friends test it! See what their impressions are. Do all the options make sense? Do they end up in the right place?
The quizzes are automatically responsive so they look good on any device. This is important because you’ll be sharing your quiz a lot of Facebook, Twitter, and even LinkedIn.
One thing I have learned is that my quiz is engaging (and quick) enough that all people who start it, finish it. That’s proves my questions are spot on. Now – I need to make the answers compelling to cause action.

Data on Data on Data. There is nothing you can do in your business without data. You can see how many people see your quiz to how many people become leads. That is something you can make a business decision on.
Easy to set up. You are guided though the process and can always go through the tutorial again.
Simple or Complex. You can have different answers go to different email lists! Or you can just collect all the emails into one list. There are many options in customization and how you deal with data so you can grow with the tool as your business grows.
As a bonus…if you take the time to see the kinds of responses you are getting in your quizzes you’ll begin to understand your audience better and what they want and need.

This is not a pill. Without a strategy this tool will be ineffective. Now, I haven’t found anything that I don’t like about it yet. But I’ll let you know as soon as I do.
Overall… Give it a try. It’s fun to play with and you’ll probably like the results.
My quiz is new so I cannot give you any real data on its conversion rates and ROI. Again, I’ll be updating this as I do.
I did not get paid to use this I was allowed free lifetime use of the platform. And I do like it.
Go on try it out. In fact, I need help coming up with a snazzy quiz name. All I have right now is “What kind of business social media user are you?” Boring right? Suggest some great titles in the comments!
Edit: Someone suggested Social Media Strengths Test and I loved the name so that’s why I’ve updated it to!
