The quick and dirty social media management system

The quick and dirty social media management system for you – the busy entrepreneur.

The quick and dirty social media management system is all about getting something done. Not getting something perfect.

Said another way.

The quick and dirty social media management system is all about getting something done. Not getting something perfect.

Done. Is better than Perfect.

This might be considered Monday Motivation as we head into a new season and our work habits change. But as a business owner – getting something out and into the world is better than keeping it a home waiting for the final coat of perfection.

This goes for your social media.

I know, I know. You’re overwhelmed and tired with a never ending list of other things to do and social media is at the bottom of that list. (And keeps getting pushed down if you’re honest)

So let’s create a quick and dirty social media management system for you – the busy entrepreneur.

  1. Focus on one platform.
    1. Pick the platform that has the biggest concentration of your audience. Now, this might not be your favorite platform or the one you’re most comfortable with. But that’s not the point right? The point is to increase your business.
  2.   Create templates for your content.
    1. Weather you theme days or theme content with templates. Create a structure for how your final peice of content will look. Will it be a quote? A quick tip? A behind the scenes look? Whatever it is pick a day and always have that content created for that day. For example, You’ll do your quotes on Monday for Motivation, your Tips on Tuesday, and Friday will be your behind the scenes day. This will make it easy for you to batch create content. (It also makes it easier to hand off)
  3. Schedule your promtions
    1. What big sales do you have coming up? What big sales does the world have coming up (Boxing day, Black Friday etc..)? Make sure to include these in your content before the day they happen as well as on the day,

That’s it.

Yes, you could do more. Lots more. But the point is to get you consistent with interesting content and promotions. Once you have that, then we can talk about you doing more.
